You must make sure that your diet has the essential combination of carbohydrates, lean protein, and healthy fats.

To start with your endeavor, you should be aware of the amount of calories you are taking in your normal day. This is to check if you are supplying your body the right amount of calorie needed by your body.


You must also count the amount of calories you are consuming each day and at the end of the day try to weigh yourself to know how know how many calories you need to take in your gain weight diet.

To have a better result, you must consume 500 calories more than your normal calorie intake. So the next day, you are completely aware of your calorie intake every day.

Gaining extra weight takes time. You do not need to eat 3 big meals a day because you want to see the result at once. The calories you should consume everyday should be broken into 5 to 6 smaller meals.

You should start practicing eating a meal every 2 hours. Of course your gain weight diet should go along with your exercise in the gym. Weightlifting will help you to gain your desired weight.

You are gaining weight the healthy way if your current weight is increasing by 1 or 2 pounds at the end of the week. If you are not seeing a positive result despite your hard work, you do not have to be disappointed because there is still hope.

All you have to do is to increase your calorie intake until such time that you can see a total change in your body. Gaining weight cannot be done in just a snap of your finger.

You really need to work for it so patience is the virtue. Develop a self discipline to have an assurance that you will have your diet a success.
